Please remember to exercise caution when exploring Nevada's Ghost Towns & Mining Camps. Open shafts, drifts going into mountainsides, and old buildings, are all DANGEROUS. Be aware of your surroundings, and let someone know where you are, especially if your plans change.

Conner's Station (Connor's Station) (Rosebud)

DIRECTIONS: From Ely, head south on U.S. 50 for 22 miles to Connors Pass, site of Conner's Station.

"Little is known about Conner's Station, located on the old Ely-Pioche stage route. A quaint frame station house, complete with stables, was built here in 1876 by the widow Conners, who had been the cook on the Cannahan Ranch. The station was located at the top of 7,723-foot Connor Pass. Horse teams were switched here after the long haul up the mountain. Mrs. Conners prepared home-cooked meals for the travelers, and lodging was available for $1.50 per night. Water for the station came from nearby Rosebud Spring, which sometimes ran dry during the hot summer months. When the Ely-Pioche stage stopped running, Conner's Station was no longer needed. Today only some scattered rubble marks the site."
