Barnes

DIRECTIONS: From Preston, head north on Nevada 38 for 4 miles to Barnes.

"Barnes was a name of a post office that served ranches in lower Jakes Valley from July 28, 1902, to February 28, 1907. The post office was located on the Judd Ranch, and owner Joseph Judd acted as postmaster. Today only scattered rubble marks the site."
