There are 2 options for hunting Wild Turkeys in Nevada:
Option 1: Residents Only. Hunt 0131 Public Lands Drawing--
Tags are awarded based upon the results of a computerized random drawing. Hunters may apply for as many as 5 hunter choice numbers. A person must be 12 years of age before the opening of every season to which the application pertains. Successful applicants will receive one tag for their first hunter choice where the quota has not been filled. Residents must have a current annual hunting license to apply. Successful applicants must possess a current Nevada hunting license while hunting Turkey.
Option 2:Residents Only. Hunt 0135 Private Land Hunt--
Landowners in Lyon County, Paradise Valley of Humboldt County, Lahontan Valley of Churchill County or Humboldt River Valley of Eureka County (residents only) may request a Permission Authorization/ Application Form from the Division of Wildlife. Hunters interested in obtaining a private lands Wild Turkey tag, must secure a Permission Authorization/ Application Form from a landowner. A person must be 12 years of age at the time of application.
NOTE: Trespass or guiding fees may be applicable if a hunter hunts on private property.

HUNTING HOURS: Sunrise to sunset.
Hunters may receive only one Turkey tag per calender year.
Turkey Hunters Note: Permissible weapons for hunting turkey (NAC 503.187): No weapon other than a : (A) shotgun which is no larger than 10 gauge or smaller than 20 gauge and uses a shot size no larger than a number 2 pellet; or (B) Longbow and arrow, may be used.
