Bring lots of shells... you will get alot of shooting action with these birds. If you want to limit out, you know you will have all your shooting skills put to the test. This is a great tune-up for the rest of the bird seasons.

NOTE: Hunting reservations are required on the Moapa Valley portion of the Overton WMA on opening day and first and second weekends of the season.

HIP Requirements: All hunters who plan to hunt any kind of migratory game bird in Nevada, are required to obtain a Harvest Information Program validation number annually and write it on their hunting license before entering the field. The validation number is free and can be obtained by calling 1-800-938-5263. Be sure to check out the 2000-2001 regulations before you hunt. Be sure to check the 1999-2000 regulations for any changes for this year.
